Cities of Hope are cities that for almost two decades have embraced the messages of the Call for Peace Drum and Dance Company in their performance entitled “From All Nations They Come Dancing.”  The company is a group of professional international artists who have brought these messages in service to the United States, Germany, Russia, Israel, Egypt, Puerto Rico and Italy.  Please visit callforpeace.org.

The Cities of Hope process celebrates our common humanity and begins to change the face of fame, where fame becomes about raising the consciousness of our interconnectedness—where people have a sense of responsibility to live more responsibly in service and good works, helping them to realize their unique purpose and destiny in a multicultural world.

You can change the face of fame whether you are a Mayor, a Governor, a President or a former President of a country, an Ambassador to Embassy Row, a Chancellor or President of a university.  You, your organization and your community will show a new consciousness of a leadership that cares, by providing a message that the world is waiting to see: a new hope for humanity.  Throughout history, there have been defining moments that change how we interact as a Global Village. Usually, these moments are triggered by catastrophic events either caused by nature or made by man. It is at times like these that we need to come together for the greater good. The Call for Peace performance brings your community together, builds bridges of goodwill and understanding, and provides a message that we are all interconnected.  During this performance, you can select people in your community to acknowledge and honor the positive work they have done to embrace the world community.

Mission: Like a quilt needing each unique design, coming together to create a vision of beauty, the Circle Dance in the Call for Peace performance visually embodies the worldwide hope that individual cultures can come together harmoniously.  Divisions between people are broken down with the beat of a drum, and beauty is realized within all of the performance’s unique rhythms and dances.  When all the drum rhythms and dancers come together, they symbolize people’s unity, bringing the voices of all nations into harmony and peace as we find the common thread that connects us all.
